The popular Nigerian rapper and actor Folarin Falana better known as Falz has revealed that his motivation for activism is not political. Contrary to popular belief that the star is trying to enter the political space by criticizing political occurrences, Falz shared that he loves his people and is genuinely concerned that leaders are failing to deliver on their promises despite resource endowment.
Falz made this revelation in an interview on Tacha’s The Big Friday Show. He believes that Nigeria should work for everyone. He said he isn’t a politician and does not aspire to be one but that he will continue to lend his voice in the fight against ill representation and bad leadership, primarily because he is unable to ignore the wrongs.
Falz is a frontline activist in the battle against bad leadership in Nigeria. Through his talks, tracks and other activities, he has expressed his discontent for the mistreatment of the Nigerian people and clamoring for better government.
